Paint and Palette has established new shipping and discount policies effective immediately. Paint and palette will provide FREE GROUND SHIPPING to any of the 48 contiguous states in the United States on all orders of $15 and above. Orders under $15 will be subject to a flat shipping fee of $10.95.
Shipping on International Orders, orders to Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico will continue to be charged at DHL prices and fees. You can estimate cost of shipping by visiting their website at www.dhl.com. Use U.S. zip code 94117 for the origin of the shipment.

JOANNA ELLINGTON RECEIVES PAINT AND PALETTE HONORABLE MENTION AWARD IN 48TH ANNUAL BEAUX ARTS EXHIBITION
On Sunday, February 6, 2005, Joanna Ellington received an Honorable Mention Award at the 48th Annual Beaux Arts Exhibition sponsored by the Arts & Design Society of Forth Walton Beach Florida. Sixty-one artists entered this juried show and 13 cash and one non-cash awards were presented. Paint and Palette provided a $25 gift certificate for this award to be presented to a beginning watercolor artist painter.
Joanna been painting for about 40 years and is a member of the Southern Watercolor Society including FL, GA, KY, LA, and AL. She paints in acrylics as well as watercolor and mixed media. We hope to have a picture of her award winning entry, "The Big Wave," to share in the March Newsletter.

PAINT AND PALETTE'S E-MAIL ADDRESS CHANGES SLIGHTLY
As part of a process of unifying and making things simpler to contact us, we are making a slight alteration in our current e-mail address. TSUNAMI AID FUND BEGINNING TO BUILD
In January Paint and Palette announced that we would donate $1 for each order received this year to two relief agencies with a long history of both disaster relief and long-term development around the world. We are pleased to announce that so far that donation is at $110. It isn't a great deal right now, but we will continue to add to it and make periodic donations to Church World Service and Heifer Project International during the year. Both organizations will give 100% of Tsunami donations received to relief and development programs in the Tsunami disaster area. Paint and Palette plans to make its first contribution at the end of March, by which time we hope it has grown significantly.
